Smart Shots with Smartphones

Droids and iPhones are quickly replacing the common point and shoot as the go to camera for millions of photographers. After all the “best camera” is the one you have with you, and we have our smartphones with us all of the time. The latest generation of phones have great cameras built in, it’s just not always easy to know how to take control of them to get the picture you want.

In this class you will learn how to create great images from your phone’s camera by taking back control and understanding all the features available to you as a photographer. This workshop covers all the basics, including the operation, settings, and functions of today’s modern smartphones. You will also learn more advanced topics such composition, using flash, advanced exposure settings, video and HDR. This class will give you a solid foundation for making smart choices with your smartphone, so you can great images from your constant electronic companion :)!
