Landscape, Composition, Abstraction, Water, Photoshop
I am a photographer and photography professor at Black Hills State University. I work with a number of traditional, digital and non-silver alternative processes. My personal artwork is broadly connected to beauty, humor and irony while my commercial photography focuses on architecture and industrial subjects and spaces.
From the moment that my father handed me my first camera, I have used photography to explore, study and carefully look at the world in which I live. My photographs often express what my words cannot. They constantly inform me and open my eyes to a world that is curious and exciting, tragic and hysterical and beyond description by any other means than a photographic image.
